I love Napa Valley. Specifically, Yountville. There’s so much to discover there. I was lucky enough to be raised next to Napa though I did not appreciate it much as a kid (the racism was rough), I did get a chance to as I got older and right before moving away from California. I miss it a lot, there’s something about Napa fall that is just unmatched to anywhere else I’ve lived. Maybe it’s the change in scenery or the smell or maybe it’s just my nostalgia. I do wish I had taken more pictures of the change of seasons.
During my recent trip back home, I got a chance to eat at RH or Restoration Hardware. It was introduced to me by one of my lifelong best friends who insisted we dine here. I had opted for The Habit but hey, if you’re gonna treat me then by all means, let’s go.

The location is gorgeous! It has this indoor/outdoor vibe to it with tree’s and a garden fountain inside the restaurant. There’s also a seating area outside that looks like it’s for hosting bigger parties. The overall feel and look of this place is magical. It’s almost like you’re somewhere completely different.

My usual includes Fried Artichoke + Potato Puree… so I can mix them together. It’s so good. I miss this meal already.

My bff’s usual usually includes a side of Truffle Fries. I have a love/hate relationship with Truffle, it’s good but too much of it and it starts to taste like I’m eating something garnished with dirt. It gets to be too strong the more I eat.
Their Caesar Salad is the prettiest thing ever. Don’t let the small amount on the plate fool you, the lettuce is beyond fresh and this amount of food is actually pretty filling!
Honorable mention goes to the Grilled Broccolini. While it’s not the best I’ve had, it’s still pretty tasty, especially if you dip it in the Potato Puree. Okay look, I dip everything in that Potato Puree. I’d dip the Coke in there if I was able to, it’s a problem! But omg it’s so good.

Between the aesthetic and the delicious food — this place quickly became one of my favorites! Other than the location in Yountville, I’ve also dined at the Dallas location located in Uptown Dallas which is just as beautiful! Just a bit less outdoor friendly compared to the Yountville location. I’ve just found there are locations in Paris and Italy as well!
Should I make it a life goal to dine at the locations in other countries ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ?! Yes, I think I should. Ya girl needs a new list of life goals okay?!
Have you ever dined at RH? What were some of your favorite dishes that you’ve tried if you have + what dishes do you suggest I try next time I go?!
